Fashion’s elite gathered at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala Benefit to honour the late Alexander McQueen last night and there were gorgeous gowns as far as the eye could see. With a lot more hits than misses we had a hard time narrowing down our five faves.
In the end, we gravitated toward looks we thought were both dramatic and graceful. Bonus points for Ginnifer Goodwin who turned down a couture creation in favour of a surprisingly elegant green gown from Topshop!
