The first day of the Coachella Festival in California was a star-studded affair on Friday – and it had little to do with the acts onstage.
The crowds were littered with Hollywood celebrities and hot young couples smooching in the sun.
Vanessa Hudgens made her Coachella debut with her rumored boyfriendJosh Hutcherson, while Hilton sistersParis and Nicky were spotted partying with Nicky’s boyfriend David Katzenberg. Lindsay Lohan and Katy Perry were also among the music fans living it up in the desert, as were actress Kate Bosworth and her beau Alexander Skarsgard, reality TV star Whitney Port and partner Ben Nemtin and Twilight actressAshley Greene, who showed her love for new boyfriend Jared Followill prior to his band Kings of Leon’s Friday night set. It was the couple’s first official public outing since she split from Jonas Brothers hunk Joe Jonas last month. And the stars kept coming – Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio, a Coachella regular, was there with fiance Jamie Mazur, while Busy Philipps, Jack Osbourne, Dita Von Teese and Tara Reid were also spotted. Meanwhile, Danny DeVito, who attended the 2010 festival, returned and David Hasselhoff showed up with his new girlfriend, Brit Hayley Roberts. The non-performing stars caught gigs by Cee Lo Green, Lauryn Hill and Kings of Leon, among others on the first night of three.
