Nike Air Force 1 Penny Hardaway
Like I mentioned earlier, Anfernee Hardaway is seemingly doing as much work with Nike since his retirement as he did in his prime playing days.Of course, last February we all got the chance to purchase a retro Nike Air Foamposite One in the famous royal blue colorway. Later this summer we’ll begin to reap the benefits of that, by way of the upcoming Zoom Rookie as well as this Nike Air Force one “Penny,” release date scheduled for the coming weeks.
The Penny Hardaway AF1 features classic Orlando Magic colors of blue and white, with the Penny cent logo embroidered at the heel. As to how soon “coming soon” means, we’ll have to wait and see. The nike shoe goes for a white leather-based upper, contrasted by a black leather heelcap, blue patent Swoosh and more blue on the inner-lining and outsole.
Coming off the wild retail success of shoes like the Foamposite One and 1/2 Cent, it’s a no brainer for Nike to continue to try to capitalize on all things Penny. They’re expanding with that vision to the canvas of all canvases now, the Penny Hardaway x Nike Air Force 1 “1 Cents” shoe, as revealed by its namesake on Twitter with the message “New Air Force/1 cents!
